This one’s for all of the musicians using Eventbrite to play more gigs, teach more lessons, and meet more fans. We appreciate all you do, and want to help you take your stuff to the next stage. And by stage, we literally mean a big, fat stage in New York or Los Angeles.

Eventbrite, with the help of Next Big Sound and The Wild Honey Pie, will select two winners: one to perform in front of key music industry folks in LA, and one to jam at a Brooklyn festival best known for finding “what’s next.”

The Los Angeles winner will perform at the ASCAP EXPO Attendee Showcase (May 2015) in front of music publishers, producers, and songwriters, and join the ranks of past performers, like Aloe Blacc. The New York winner will perform at The Wild Honey Pie’s Beehive at Northside Music Festival (June 2015) alongside other indie powerhouses. While the lineup is still being finalized, last year’s Northside Festival Beehive featured major acts like Misterwives and Body Language on the roster.

To determine the two winners, Eventbrite is teaming up with Next Big Sound to identify which two of the submitted artists are most likely to make it big in the upcoming year. Using predictive analytics, Next Big Sound analyzes social media mentions and digital streaming consumption of an artist’s music to predict the artist's impending popularity. With more than a quarter of Eventbrite’s music event organizers being musicians themselves, we're hoping this contest will ultimately give these artists (and many more) a new platform for exposure.

The contest is open to all musicians or bands of any genre. To enter, just submit the following after registering above:

• Artist or Band Name
• Youtube link of an original song that you’d like to perform if selected as a winner
• Full names of all people in the Video
• Full name(s) of songwriter(s) of original song performed in the Video
• Your performance opportunity preference: LA, NY, or either!

Submissions are open until April 6, 2015 at 11:59pm PDT.
